This rucksack is a really good option if you want a bag which is sturdy and uses "heritage"-type materials but don't want to remortgage your house so as to buy something from e.g. Filson. The fabric feels good and the clip and buckles are made of metal. The main compartment is a good size, and it doesn't flop open when you're loading things into it, which happens with rucksacks which unzip round the top.
My only criticism is that the straps are maybe a little close together, so it feels vaguely as if they are pressing into the back of your shoulders where they emerge from the top of the bag, but it's a very minor point and does not significantly affect the overall comfort.
